Youth Classes

We offer customizable educational content for all ages focusing on new ways to confront and interpret Shakespearean stories. Each class results in a performance.

Currently, Bard in Brevard staff members teach classes at the Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County and at the Transylvania Community Arts Council.

Adult Classes

Adult classes feature in depth interrogation of Shakespeare’s texts and effective deployment of language. With emphasis on character development and vocal dexterity, each class results in a workshop style performance.

Play in a Day Workshops

As rapid immersion into a single Shakespeare play, or a script in development stage, Play in a Day workshops are open to the public and after a day long rehearsal, result in a staged reading the same evening.
