Learn and Perform
Theater is a powerful teaching tool. Through our educational programs, we invite people of all ages to explore Shakespeare's stories, develop performance skills, and discover their own creative voice. Whether you're curious about the text, interested in performing, or looking for a community of learners, our classes offer accessible pathways into the world of Shakespeare and live performance.
Youth Classes
We offer customizable educational programs for young people, exploring new interpretations of Shakespeare's stories through performance. Students develop confidence, collaboration skills, and creative expression. Each class culminates in a performance. We currently teach at the Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County and the Transylvania Community Arts Council.
Adult Classes
Our adult classes dive deep into Shakespeare's texts with emphasis on character development, language, and vocal expression. Participants explore the richness of the language and discover how to bring these stories to life. Each class concludes with a workshop-style performance where students showcase what they've learned.
Workshops
New to Shakespeare or theater? Our Play in a Day workshops are rapid immersions into a single play. After a full day of rehearsal, participants perform a staged reading the same evening. Open to the public with no experience necessary. A fun way to experience live theater from the inside.
